THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICHESTER
Why Study a Masters Degree at Chichester?
Students choose to study a postgraduate qualification at the University of Chichester because of the many qualities which make the university an ideal place to study.
Unique Learning Environment
Most of our courses are taught in small groups of between 10 to 25 students. This means you will have close working relationships with your tutors and classmates and have more time to ask questions and discuss your work. Small groups enable you to practise your communication and presentation skills in a friendly supportive environment whilst developing your academic knowledge.
High Standards
Mainly due to the learning environment at Chichester, we are ranked second to Oxford and joint with Cambridge for the personal relationships that students have with staff. We are the number 1 modern university in the UK for student satisfaction. (Complete University Guide 2012) Almost 75% of our research is world-leading, internationally recognised or internationally excellent. (RAE 2008)
Beautiful Location
We are located on 2 campuses in the south of the UK within easy reach of London and the major UK airports. Chichester is pretty, historic cathedral city with a great arts and cultural scene and a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and entertainment venues. Bognor Regis has grown over the years to become one of the UK’s most popular seaside resorts and has been named
the sunniest town in England. They are about 20 minutes from each other and there is a frequent bus service between the 2 campuses.
Choice
We offer a range of programmes in the arts, business, education, humanities, social sciences and sport. In the School of Enterprise, Management and Leadership you can choose from a range of MSc International Business programmes.
Great Facilities
Our campuses have a mix of historic buildings and up-to-date modern facilities. We have a great range of on and off-campus residence accommodation and all the amenities you would expect from a modern university such as cafes, dining halls, libraries, extensive IT provision and state of the art learning environments.
Support
We offer a range of services to help international students feel
comfortable and safe whilst studying here. Our International Student Advisor will be happy to help with issues such as visa application, finance, fees and cultural adjustments to life in the UK. We organise an orientation programme which will help you meet other international students and settle in to the university.
Employability
Our courses are designed with your future career in mind. Many of our courses have work placements and 90% of Chichester graduates (9 out of 10) are in jobs or further study six months after graduating. We work closely with businesses and provide students with the support and skills to reach their full employment prospects.
