Joyce Pedigo is a legendary horse woman who has been breeding quality performance horses since the 1980's. Then living in Newport Beach, California, she purchased a magnificent breathtaking 100 acre farm in
Bend, Oregon. Eaglepoint Trakehner Station has a 40 stall barn, Olympic Lite indoor arena, and sprawling pastures with lush green grass.
Knowing the importance of selecting quality breeding stock to produce top Hunters, Jumpers and Dressage horses in the country, she traveled to Shade Tree Farms in Ohio to purchase broodmares and the foundation stallion Adler. Currently, the farm breeds has a yearly foal crop of 10 Trakehner’s and additionally is becoming very well known across the country for having a great selection of top young horses.
Campaigning their stallion, Adler, Eaglepoint has captured many great wins at the Grand Prix level in the
Dressage ring including earning a Silver Medal, eventually traveling back east to be schooled by Robert Dover. Adler has produced many top horses including: Kouragous, Komander, Alegis, Caspian, Kalena, Kannon, Adryanna, Krystina, Karoline, Kourage, Petra, Alexandra and Cerkiew. is promoting the Trakehner breed.
Joyce certainly Ryan Pedigo, Joyce's grandson, spent every summer as a young man on the farm, eventually coming to live
there for 6 years. Currently a trainer in Chino Hills, California at Kennedy Pedigo Farms, he learned so much from his grandma's wealth of knowledge by working side by side every breeding season. Ryan credits his great work ethic and horsemanship to his grandmother.
Joyce now has her string of show horses in California training with Ryan and Ron Kennedy where Ryan
does the riding and showing, adding many show Championships and year end awards to the farms resume. Joyce is truly a special lady and has made her mark in the horse world.
