pray. They are boisterous and bold with hands reached toward the heavens and speaking a language our Father knows only too well. Without a doubt, you knew they were there for one reason only - to praise Christ and give Him full glory. I literally cried through the majority of the service because the Spirit of the Lord was so intimately present. What an amaz- ing representation of how we all should go to the Lord in prayer: without reservation, not caring if we’re seen or heard by others.
On the flip side to the wondrous things being planted in Sri Lanka by this out- reach, the sting of desperate poverty was also present. Poverty like most of us in America have never seen. Children live in shacks beside a disease-infested canal without supervision. Some of their mothers are prostitutes and are away from home most of the time. These children will some- times go for months without eating a real meal. They survive on biscuits (cookies) or food randomly given to them by others. Worse yet, this is a breeding ground for
