ty with a functioning church and dormitory located near a government-subsi- dized university. The church will disciple them in the Lord and train them to be ministers while they attend the university to get a degree in such areas as education, agriculture, fishery management and engineering. Our ultimate goal for this project is to produce productive citizens and quality ministers for tribal churches.
Dream Becomes a Vision, Vision Becomes a Mission The Lord has placed this burden in my heart for the poor tribal people; I want to see them prosper spiritually, financially and intellectually. At first, it seemed my dream would never be a reality; but when I realized my wife and children supported this dream, it became a vision to me. This vision haunted me night and day until John Cathcart, WME’s President, visited us in March. When I shared the vision with him, it became a mission that I believe and pray will be accomplished in the very near future.
A Mission Has to be Finished John Cathcart went with me to Mindanao State University. We took pictures and then visited a little church in a squatter area just beyond the concrete fence that bordered the university. We recognized the potential for a property near the area to become the place where our dormitory could be built and our
