Roseacre tops area for Kent Test results
PRIMARY school pupils were celebrating as the 2012 Kent Test results were released. Roseacre in Bearsted was among the borough’s top scor- ing schools with 45% of the 80 Year 6 pupils who sat the test gaining a pass in the 11-plus exam. Also doing well were young-

them a place, as KCC says these schools can become oversub- scribed. Parents have now applied for

Leomerely sustained a grazed knee. Cllr Waite said: “I was very lucky to get away with the collar. Things could have beenmuchworse.”

M20 safety work THE M20 could be improved between junctions 6 and 7, near Maidstone, as part of a £17 million road improvement scheme in the South East. The £300,000 project aims
to reduce congestion between the junctions tomake way for new housing developments and improve safety. The work, which is still in the planning stage, will begin in 2014.
