“We are proud to adhere to all five of the FTV’s criteria and work closely with our overseas projects to fulfil sustainable goals in partnership with the local communities, as well as ensuring our volunteers are suitable and have a thorough understanding of their involvement within these projects. This means volunteers come away knowing their work has improved the lives of their host community – and with the ability to explain this clearly to universities or employers,” continued Simon.

The Rwanda itinerary runs from 4 July to 8 August 2013 and costs £1,000 per person. The Uganda itinerary runs from 19 July to 23 August 2013 and costs £1,050 per person. The price covers all on the ground costs including

accommodation, food, transport, activities, insurance and equipment needed for the team to complete the project.

Both itineraries require an additional donation of £850 which goes directly to the specified project the volunteer will be working with. The project donation is dealt with separately so that every penny

goes to the project. Fundraising packs and guidance is given to each volunteer by the Quest team to help achieve their donation goal.
