Our Programmes

Through Talentum, we offer a variety of career options for promising new talent. Whatever your level of education and whatever country you’re from, there’ll be a programme or scheme to suit you. There’s every opportunity to innovate and break new ground, here at Telefónica.

Graduates

Graduates can join us via two different graduate schemes. The first is our European Leadership Graduate Programme. If you have a strong academic record, a second language to English (preferably Spanish, German, Slovak or Czech), this could be the scheme for you. It’s designed to prepare high-performing graduates to be the leaders of tomorrow and to put you on the path to an international career, through world-class training, which includes 6 month European assignment. We’ll be recruiting for the 2013 programme in September of this year.

If you’d prefer to stay in one country, a local graduate programme might be a better option. Most

countries have their own local graduate programmes, which allow you to specialise in a certain area, such as Finance, Marketing, IT & Networks. You’ll be trained to become a future business leader, while developing expertise in a specialist subject.

Our graduate applications are opened till 31st of October.

Apprenticeships

If you are a school leaver, finished higher education or just hoping to gain valuable experience an Apprenticeship could be the next step for you. Our Apprenticeship schemes give you the chance to join our team and learn by working alongside our experts. You’ll earn a salary, study for a relevant qualification and open the door to a promising future within our business. Apprenticeships are currently available in Germany and the UK.

Internships

Every country arranges its own internships. Some last six months; others last a year. All are paid (with salaries set by each individual country) and open to students at all

stages of education, from college or undergraduate level, to postgraduate. Internships offer the chance to gain valuable experience and get a great brand name on your CV. We recruit interns throughout the year across a wide variety of areas in our business.

Wayra Internships

This year sees the launch of Wayra and with it, Talentum Startups. If you’d like to be based in an exciting start-up business, rather than a large corporate company, this could be just what you’re looking for. Our Wayra academies - based in Germany, Ireland, Spain and the UK - are part of pioneering businesses that are innovating their fields. There are two different options available; LongTrack and ShortTrack. The first is a six-month intern placement within a Wayra academy business, called Longtrack. Shorttrack is a three-month opportunity where you’ll get the chance to work on your own project using the resources available through Wayra academies. As a Wayra intern, you’ll get to improve society through technology and develop your ideas for social innovation.
