Military Tributes Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors


(TAPS) is the Offi cial Military Charity Partner of WIHS this year. TAPS will be presenting the Armed Forces Cup to the winner of the Puis- sance and will have a signifi cant presence at the Armed Forces VIP Reception on Friday night. WIHS has teamed up with its Armed Forces Foundation this year as the Offi cial Distribu-


tor of the Military Ticket Program. T ey will distribute thousands of tickets to members of the military and their families. T e Caisson Platoon demonstration has been


moved from Saturday night to Friday night so it can be part of the Armed Forces tributes that will be happening throught the evening.


Juniors Take Charge


Hanna Pow- ers of Potomac Falls, Virginia is this year’s WIHS Youth Ambassador. T e Youth Am- bassador pro- gram is in its fourth year and the 15-year- old sophomore from T e Ma- deira School in McLean, Vir- ginia will over- see the WIHS Junior Committee. In addition, Hanna will work with show management to reach out to the local youth community. T e Junior Com- mittee consists of students from public, charter and private schools in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. “I am honored to be a part of the WIHS
