Oscar was “head” cat. He spent most of his time with his best friends Mittens and Tippy. Mittens used to sleep with me, but Oscar claimed her and she slept where he slept. If any of the cats started to fi ght, Oscar went to check it out and that usually ended the fi ght without human intervention. When I was unpacking groceries, I had to put the bread away fi rst. Oscar has been known to steal the loaf, take it in the living room and take a big bite out of the center. Oscar liked to be held on his own terms and would put both paws around my neck to snuggle. Oscar was very handsome.

In memory of my beloved friend and teacher whose personality could always be counted on to bring a smile to everyone he met. He touched many hearts in his life’s journey, especially mine; the memory of a thousand emotive facial expressions will replay every day.
