PRACTICE NURSE GRADE 6 FULL-TIME

We are an enthusiastic, friendly practice in Bow, East London, looking after almost 13,000 patients, with 6 partners and 5 salaried GPs in the heart of the community.


We want to recruit a full-time (37.5 hours) practice nurse grade AfC 5-6 to join our rich and varied multidisciplinary team committed to holistic patient care.


We strive for excellence in supporting our patients with chronic disease in the community and we are able to deliver this to a high level of care with a multi disciplinary approach working alongside local practices.


Previous practice experience is essential, particularly in chronic disease management, immunisation (child and adult travelling), liquid based cervical cytology, family planning. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise a team of health care assistants and 2 practice nurses. Training and personal development are encouraged and we value ambition. Team working is valued as is personal initiative.


Salary depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits: five weeks holiday, NHS Pension scheme, study leave, a personal mentor and generous sickness leave.

Murray Edwards College seeks a College Nurse, to provide confidential medical advice and support to students of Murray Edwards and Fitzwilliam Colleges. The Nurse holds regular surgeries and liaises with College tutors, local health services and the University Counselling Service.


The post is part-time (16 hours a week, term-time only, negotiable). The successful candidate should have general nursing experience and current NMC registration.
