Salt Cave Celebrates Anniversary with Halotherapy Discount

he Salt Cave, in Na- ples, is celebrating its three-year anniversary by offering halotherapy (salt therapy) for $3, through September 5. An appoint- ment is required to experi- ence this drug- and side
effect-free natural therapy during normal weekday hours of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Halotherapy (halos means salt in Greek) can be help- ful for those with respiratory problems or skin disorders. It takes place in a controlled air environment that simulates the special microclimate of actual salt caves and salt mines. The regular prices for 45-minute sessions are $45 for adults and $35 for children under 10.

Happehatchee Celebrates “Soft” Re-opening with Taste of Happe
A
weekend Taste of Happe celebration, taking place September 22 and 23, signals the re-opening of Estero’s Happehatchee Center, with a Maya Opening Ceremony that begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy the Universe Walk, Nature Connect ex- ercises, bicycling, creative arts, gardening, yoga, Tai chi and meditation classes.
On September 28, the center will formally re-open its beautiful Florida landscape to the public for four days each week, and classes will also resume.
