Halifax Health As the area's largest health care provider, Halifax Health offers two hospitals, psychiatric services, four cancer
treatment centers, the area’s largest hospice organization and a health maintenance organization. Halifax Health is also affiliated with the Volusia Health Network, which is a premier provider of quality health care plans in the area. In the fall of 2006, Halifax Health opened Halifax Medical Center of Port Orange to better accommodate the growing communities of southeast Volusia County.
Halifax Health is the only hospital system in the greater Daytona Beach area that offers the daVinci Surgical System for robotic
surgery, an advanced electrophysiology lab, Cianna’s SAVI treatment for breast cancer and a bedside medicine verification program. The Center for Oncology not only offers the Cianna’s SAVI treatment but also stem cell transplantation, hormonal and targeted therapy, and chemotherapy.
Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach This 764-bed hospital offers the only Level II Trauma Center in Volusia
and Flagler counties and a pediatric emergency department. Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach provides medical and surgical intensive care units; services in oncology and radiology; a full-service laboratory; neonatal intensive care and pediatric intensive care units; heart, neuroscience including the area’s only comprehensive stroke center and wound care services.
The France Tower, a ten-story inpatient tower, is 500,000 square feet with
private patient rooms. The tower is home to Florida’s largest emergency department, which boasts 89,000 square feet, 107 private treatment rooms, a Rapid Admission Unit and a Chest Pain Center.

Halifax Health Medical Center of Port Orange This 80-bed community hospital features a 24-hour emergency
department with a total of 20 beds including eight critical-care beds. Services offered at Halifax Health Medical Center of Port Orange include echocardiograms, a gastrointestinal laboratory, imaging, an inpatient laboratory, interventional pain management, interventional radiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pulmonary functions, speech therapy and surgical services.
