Transtar Names Chairman Robert J. Keegan Interim CEO Transtar Industries, Inc., the pre-
mier provider of world-class drive- line solutions, today announced that Chairman of the Board Robert J. (Bob) Keegan has been named interim chief executive officer while Transtar con- ducts a search for a new leader. Keegan succeeds Greg Gyllstrom, who led the company for five years. Gyllstrom has left to pursue other opportunities in private equity. Keegan, who formerly served
as chairman, president, and CEO of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, brings outstanding leadership skills and deep automotive industry expertise to the position. “I am pleased to have the oppor-
tunity to deepen my involvement with Transtar while we search for a new CEO who can drive the next phase of our business growth,” Keegan said. “The Board and executive team are committed to continued investment in the business — from developing tal- ent to improving customer service and our product offerings.
