Many of the products from RV Boss can be used to maintain and enhance your tow rig and car as well as your RV. To closer reflect how you will use the Boss products, I tested them on three different types of vehicles.
Water Repellent The convertible top is the oldest and worst exposed awning material I could think of (also the easiest to reach). First I pored water onto the roof to get a baseline. It soaked it up like a paper towel in a kitchen cleanup. I then treated it with the water repellent. Now when I poured water on the
roof, the water beaded and rolled right off the roof! As an added bonus it restored the colour to the roof. Days later, someone asked if I had replaced the roof. I retested the water repellency 3
weeks later, three weeks of sun, rain, tree pollen and wear and tear as the roof was opened and closed. Water beaded and rolled away like the day I first treated it.
Boss Bug & Tar I think this may the ‘grossest’ part of getting to where you are going. A front end full of dead bugs baked on by the heat and sun and cured by vehicle exhaust and pavement detritus. My tow vehicle is a 2004 Dodge Ram. I followed the directions - spray it on and wait 10 seconds – I can do that. I didn’t count the number of bugs and
crap I started with but I can tell you how many were leſt – zero.
Tire Shine Following in my father’s footsteps and most Canadian men, I sprayed on the Tire Shine and then read the directions. Apparently I was supposed to wash the tire first and then let it dry for 15 minutes. Well I did let it dry for 15 minutes. Regardless, the results were fantastic. According to the package, the look is supposed to last for quite some time. I only did the front tire on the passenger side (I call it research, my wife calls it lazy). Aſter
