The chance to enjoy childhood

B

eing a foster carer is a lifestyle changing experience that can be a challenging

but rewarding career; one that requires foster carers to be flexible, resilient and have oodles of stamina, patience and empathy to get through the more difficult times.

At Clifford House Fostering our foster carers provide a safe, warm and caring home to children who may have experienced a difficult and sometimes abusive past and in doing so give children the chance to heal and enjoy their childhood.

Small Steps 22

Foster carers are expected to undertake a range of tasks on a regular basis and at Clifford House Fostering our carers achieve exceptional outcomes for children who may be struggling due to their life experiences, with the support and regular training from the Agency.

Our biggest demand for children who need placements, due to there being a national shortage of foster carers, is for children between the ages of 10 to 15 years old. We are always interested to meet new people who have the energy, tenacity and ability to safely look after children of all ages and from different backgrounds.
