Leading businesses join forces to look at the future for good business

Leading, responsible businesses in Northern Ireland have come together with Business in the Community to help companies of all sizes and sectors to explore the challenges facing business in the next 5 ‒ 10 years. Scheduled to convene at a unique major conference, The Future for Good Business, companies, thought leaders and expert commentators will be brought together to discuss corporate responsibility issues. The event, sponsored by BT and in association with The Irish News, will provide a showcase of all aspects of responsible business practice here and facilitate the sharing of good practice between companies. It will take place at Titanic Belfast on 17 October.

Leading by example are key businesses, each of whom will provide a focus on an important aspect of corporate responsibility: People, championed by SHS Group Planet, championed by ASDA Place, championed by Bombardier Aerospace Marketplace, championed by Coca‑Cola HBC Northern Ireland

Getting involved in this not‑to‑be‑missed event is really easy as a new, interactive website has been created by Digital Champion, Blue Cube. Go online to www.goodbusinessni.com for continual updates.

Gillian McKee, Marketing and Communications director, Business in the Community in Northern Ireland comments: “Weʼre delighted with the appetite from business for this type of event. “Itʼs a first for Northern Ireland and our line‑up of key speakers includes Baroness Susan Greenfield, who will challenge companies to think about how their employees expectations and needs are

The support from our championing businesses is critical to finding out what the future for good business is and ensuring a sustainable future for all.” “We believe that The Future for Good Business conference will help deepen the culture of
