Bash’n at the Beach, Kinuso, AB, August 24-26, 2012 Te annual ‘Bash’n at the Beach’ Demolition Derby & Outdoor Concert is a non-profit event hosted at Spruce Point Park Event Grounds and the event itself is operated by the Lake Shore Motor Sports Association (LSMSA). Dozens of demolition derby competitors attend from across Western Canada and you can enjoy live outdoor concerts featuring recording artists such as Prism and the Headpins. Tere are concessions and venues all over the event grounds with wonderful sandy beaches to enjoy, and overnight campsites only a ‘stones throw’ away from the event grounds. Valley Jamboree from August 2-5, 2012 include Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton (ACMA Male Vocalist of the Year) and Toby Keith (ACMA Video of Te Year Winner). Added to the slate of performers is Kix Brooks, long part of the incredibly successful duo of Brooks and Dunn. Brooks and Dunn have won more CMA and ACM Awards than any act in the history of country music, and judging from the success that Brooks is having as a solo act, we have no doubt that multiple awards are on the horizon for him in his solo career. His latest single, “New to Tis Town” is already rocketing up the Billboard music charts. Returning to Big Valley Jamboree this August will be


Grammy Award winner Dwight Yoakam, who has sold over 25 million records in a sterling career. In addition to having had a legendary live performance career, Yoakam has earned significant praise for his film and television acting work. Additional performers that have now been signed for


Big Valley this summer include Tompson Square (ACMA Vocal Duo of the Year), Emerson Drive, Adam Gregory, Sean Hogan, Asleep at the Wheel, Marlee Scott and Pear. Clayton Bellamy and Kira Isabella have been added


to the roster of performers for the ever-popular Kick-Off Party on Tursday, August 2 and will be joining Te Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Jason McCoy. Bellamy will also be hosting the Axe Music Songwriters Tent, sharing some of his background as a songwriter in an intimate and unplugged setting.


About Camping at Big Valley Jamboree Gates open at 8:00 am Wednesday and close at midnight daily. All vehicles not processed by midnight will be required to park in the Processing Lanes until the gates reopen the following morning. ALL CAMPING IS NOW ASSIGNED. Te order desk computer will assign the next available stall. Roping off of additional stalls is prohibited. Tampering or Removal of Staked Flags will result in eviction. Please be sure you are moving into the correct campsite as they are clearly marked. Failure to do so, may result in the removal of your camping unit by tow truck. Te Big Valley Jamboree grounds (including campgrounds) is a “closed site”. Terefore, appropriate wristbands must be worn at all times beyond the checkpoint areas. Tere are a maximum of 6 people allowed per site, a camping unit, and a second vehicle. A camping unit will be defined as: 1) A Truck & Trailer, 2) A Motorhome, 3) a Car w/ a maximum of 3 tents. Campsites are based on double occupany, thus for every two (2) 3-Day Passes purchased, you may purchase one campsite. Te fee charged for camping is for the campsite for the entire weekend, and not per person staying in the site. Maximum of 6 persons allowed per site. Camping stall are 20’ wide and 40’ long.
