Starbelly Jam, Crawford Bay, BC, July 20-22, 2012 Starbelly Jam is an outdoor music festival – their 13th annual - held in Crawford Bay, BC on the third full weekend of July. Te music and other entertainment is soulfully eclectic, and this year it will include funk, world music, rock, hip-hop, reggae, blues, bluegrass, folk, jam bands and some acts that are a tad harder to define. Tere will also be entertainment and activities for children (who get in free if they are under age 13 and with an adult), a great selection of on-site food, a craſt fair, free workshops, roaming jugglers, clowns, and more. Shambhala Music Festival, Nelson BC, August 8-13, 2012 Tis festival for free spirits, takes place at the Salmo River Ranch, located 45 minutes south of Nelson.
