MISHA B >>EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

What do you have planned for the next few months? My new single is out on July 15th, then I have a second single out and I’m doing a lot of recording. So working really hard and in the studio a lot!

If someone told you they were applying for the XFactor what advice would you give them? I’d give them pieces of advice: • First belief; belief is everything regardless of the outcome. • Work hard, you only get out of it what you are prepared to put in.

• Stay true to who you are, feeling happy about who you are is very important.

What are you favourite skin and hair products? That’s easy. For my skin I’d definitely say Palmers Coco Butter and for my hair Moroccan oil.

Your voice is amazing, does anyone sing in your family and were they your inspiration? Yes my family have always encouraged me and my cousin is a really amazing gospel singer.

What is your biggest fashion inspiration? I don’t really have anyone else, for me its about being an individual, freedom of expression and feeling comfortable about the person I am and how I look.

And music inspiration? A: Definitely, Michael Jackson, Missy Elliot, Eminem and Mary J Blige to name only a few.

Who would you most like to work with? I would have said Michael Jackson but of course that’s not possible. So I’d definitely say Missy Elliot. There is a possibility that this could happen soon.

What was life at school like for you? I had the best time at school. I studied health and social care at college, and if I wasn’t working in music I’d love to be working with children. At school I really enjoyed it. I was in the football team and the choir.

If you could have a superpower what would it be? I’d like to be like Aladdin, just click my fingers and be somewhere else.

Misha B releases her debut single Home Run, released on 15th July, through Relentless Records.
