How important do you think image is? I think it’s always good to be yourself. Sure people can pretend to be someone else when it comes to their music, life, and all the stuff in between. But if you are real and honest from the start then more people will love and support you for who you are.

What have you got planned for the year ahead? Well after the tour with One Direction finishes up, I am going to head back to the studio and cut a few new songs. One of them has been my tour exclusive track called, ‘Now or Never.’
Describe your new single to us and what its about? Set The Night On Fire is just a fun, bouncy, and totally a dance anthem. It’s about getting up and getting ready for taking on the world. Literally going out with your friends to have fun, hang out, and set the night on fire!
What was it like touring with One Direction?
It has been a blast so far. The boys are so amazing and total goofballs; which is good cause so am I. Before every show you can find me in the dressing room blasting music as I get ready to play, and I always see Harry walk by dancing to whatever’s on my radio!

Who are your main inspirations? I’ve always said Mariah Carey up til now because she was the first person to tell me to follow my dreams, but after seeing Beyonce in concert I have a new role model in my life. Beyonce is not only an AMAZING singer, but she is a talented dancer, and when she combines the 2 it’s phenomenal. I would love to learn to dance soon just to take more after her.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re relaxing? Well, when I’m not touring, doing homework, or in the studio i just love to be a kid. I love hanging out with my friends, going to the mall, going to the beach, watching scary movies, and just being silly. I’m always on instagram and twitter too and love posting random
adventures I go on.
Did you enjoy life at school? What was it like? I love school. I still go back to school when I’m not touring. It’s always amazing coming back and seeing all my friends after a couple months. When I am on the road, it’s fun too. Because if I do a lot of independent study, so I get to teach myself all the materials and I love the challenge!
What advice would you give to a teenager who wants to make it in the music biz? It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s really worth it. The best thing to do is to keep following your dreams. Don’t listen to the haters. If you feel like what they’re saying is something you should change, change it. If not, just smile and ignore it. Don’t let it get you down!
