Kuhn shows off its cutting edge
COMBINING the technical assets of the proven Multidrive workhorse with the latest Kelland forward control cab off the versatile Agribuggy, Kelland engineers have streamlined the range’s looks and advantages. The existing mid-cab Multidrive unit will continue in production, with interest for the forward control unit expected primarily from the sprayer and spray contractor industry. Kelland’s Keith Pashley says the new model will feature mechanical drive with power shift transmission, four-wheel steer capability with constant PTO output, a genuine 50 kph road speed with load capacity for up to 6,000 litres/36 metre sprayer. By adding the 360-degree visibility forward control cab with its tinted, curved glass, this new model maintains Kelland’s excellent engineering pedigree while the air suspension, as standard, provides comfort.
KUHN will be exhibiting models from its centrallyarticulated mounted mowerrange at grass- land demonstrations this sum- mer,the latest newmachine being the GMD 2810. The GMD 2810 disc mower
has a2.67 metreworking width and is the latest model to include the patented Lift Control facility. This machine is also one of the
first to featureKuhn’s newgener- ation Optidisc cutter bar, which is designed to improvequality of cutting, increase protection and durability, and

maintenance. Central articulation givesthis

evenathigh speeds. Lift Control is an integrated
hydraulic linkage enabling the cutter bar to be lifted out of work on headlands (to aclearance of 40cm) without raising the three- point
linkage.Ground clearance is also constant over the whole width of the machine. Non-stop break-back control is also included on the GMD
2810, minimising the risk or inconvenience of damage in the event of hitting an obstacle. Fitted with Kuhn’s newFast-Fit blades system as standard, this latest model has astarting price of £10,839. Kuhn’s mounted straight
mowerrange nowincludes four models, fromthe GMD 2810 up to the 4.35m GMD 4410.
