Central Florida Racing Complex Thursday Night Bike Night

Head on down and test your ride at the Central Florida Racing Com-

plex. Bike night started a little over a year ago. It came about after the very popular bike night at Old Town was ending and leaving riders with no other place to go. Much more than your average bike night hang out, the complex features a 1/8 mile drag strip, open to all riders, and a fully staffed team of paramedics to ensure a fun, safe environment. Whether your prov- ing your racing prowess, or just testing your ride for the hell of it, bikers and motor sport enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to a down-home friendly, party atmosphere with free musical performances, bikini contests, motor- cycle dyno, bike wash and more!

All bikes are welcome, and with an average of 2500 total bikes on nights in the past, there is a lot to see. From sport bikes, to cruisers and custom choppers, the diversity is truly astonishing. While the crowd is primarily sport bikes, clubs of all kinds routinely stop in and hang around for a bit. Any person on any bike and any affiliation is welcome to stop in. No one will be asked to remove their colors before entering, just that they respect the fact that we are neutral territory and anyone may show up.

Bike Night is every Thursday starting at 8pm and shortly after they open up the drag strip for Bike only drag racing. The crowd does not start show- ing up until about 9:30-10, and by 12 the place is empty again. The com- plex is located in Southeast Orlando on Central Florida Parkway, direc- tions and information available at their website www.cfracingcomplex.com and through free downloadable apps on the iPhone or iPad.

The event is free to all bikers, and $5 parking for cars for spectators and

vendors alike. If you are feeling the urge to speed, long for the sound of a parades worth of motorcycles, or just feel like having a good time, I sure they’d love to see you there.
