Quesada Focus Networks Theatre - Titanic, Ship of Dreams
These are exciting times at Networks with our new venue and our much anticipated production of Nick Moore’s “Titanic – Ship of Dreams.” Also finally it’s here, our new purpose-built theatre! Every seat has a back to it! No more benches! A larger stage with professional lighting and sound. We’re very excited!
Titanic – Ship of Dreams in rehearsal is already proving to be a real crowd pleaser. It’s got stirring songs, an emotional story, also wonderful costumes. Join us at Networks Theatre on this ship’s fateful journey as we meet third-class passenger, Mary Doherty, as she travels to America to pursue her simple dream, to be a Lady’s Maid.
On the ill-fated ship first, second and third-class all travel together but are kept apart in this dramatic snapshot of Edwardian England. We experience
the arrival of the passengers, the magic of a First Class Ball and in contrast the daily hell experienced by the stokers in the engine room as they work in temperatures of 49ºC moving 800 tons of coal a day. Yes, 800 tons!
With a cast of 30 talented actors, great script and lyrics, stunning costumes and a brilliant stage design by Dennis Carpenter, with wonderful choreography by Hannah Pailthorpe this show will be one to remember! So BOOK NOW for Titanic – Ship of Dreams at the new Networks Theatre, Calle San Agustin 25, 03300 Orihuela.
