New Signs Remind Drivers to Slow Down

As you are traveling the roads of Readington Township, be aware of your speed, if you see one of these radar signs and the display is flash- ing, please slow down and remem- ber to drive safely.


New Radar Signs Flash Speed Warning


By Sebastian Donaruma Readington Township Police Chief With numerous complaints of vehicles speeding through Read- ington Township the Police Depart- ment needed a solution that would remind drivers to slow down and drive safely. Two portable radar signs were purchased using for- feited drug funds. These radar signs are lightweight, portable and can easily be moved from one location to another.


The signs display a vehicle’s speed; any vehicle traveling above a preset speed limit will cause the dis- play to flash, warning a driver of a
