Characteristics of these types of Autism include impaired social interaction and communication skills, and a limited range of activities and interests. The latest research supports that there are approximately thirteen

various conditions which may lead to the development of Autism. To say that the precursors of Autism are either environmental or genetic would be short sighted. This article will explore the two most impor- tant probable causes of Autism or Autism Spectrum Disorder. The first cause of Autism we will look at is Candida overgrowth.
Most of the children diagnosed with Autism have a severe Candida overgrowth. This is primarily due to pregnant women eating diets loaded with sugars and refined carbohydrates, thus leading to Can- dida overgrowth in the mother. When a mother has Candida over-
utism is on the rise. Last year alone 24,000 children were diagnosed with some form of autism spectrum disorder. Types of Autism include Asperger syndrome, childhood disintegra-
growth, her baby is infected during birth. The baby’s undeveloped immune system cannot kill the Candida, and the friendly bacteria the baby should have picked up from the mother are missing, so Candida overgrows in the baby. Once Candida overgrows in the intestinal tract it changes into the fungal form with legs that actu- ally drill tiny holes in the intestinal tract. These holes allow proteins that are partially digested to slip through into the blood stream. This condition is called leaky gut syndrome because the intestines are ac- tually leaking partially digested foods. When this occurs, the body’s immune system responds to these foods like any other toxin. The immune system treats the foods as harmful, and allergies develop. Because the Candida sets up the body in an almost auto immune situation, these allergies and improper digestion prevent the child from digesting proteins properly. This inability to properly digest the proteins in foods to amino acids means infants’ bodies do not have enough amino acids to make glutathione, which is the main detoxi- fier in the body. To compound this problem further, babies are given vaccines at birth which contain toxins, such as mercury and alu- minum. In turn, if the child does indeed have Candida overgrowth from birth, which then leads to a leaky gut that cannot digest foods completely, causing protein shortage and less glutathione, then these toxins can stay in the brain and become the primary cause of Autism. Research shows that glutathione is deficient in virtually all children with Autism. Today there is much controversy about the connection between
vaccinations and Autism. Dr. Andrew Wakefield is one of the world’s most respected and well-published gastroenterologists and has investigated this topic immensely. He states, “Where is the crime in listening to over 4000 parents about their children’s disease, clini- cally investigating the autistic children and reporting the connection with the vaccines these children received?” In 2007, Dr. Wakefield was persecuted for his courageous actions. He should be praised, not condemned, for listening to these parents of autistic children when no one else would. The U.S. vaccine schedule has grown from 10 vaccines given to our children in the 1980s to 36 today, perfectly matching the dramatic rise in Autism. Children are administered these toxic compounds from day one. We must challenge the state and federal systems to look into the harmful effects these shots may be having on our children. The medical community needs to study the data; ignoring the research to protect profits ultimately jeopar- dizes community health. They should look at the study that was done with Amish children, who are not vaccinated, and have virtually no cases of Autism. In fact, in the research study reporting this, the only child who did develop Autism had been vaccinated as a baby. The premise of vaccines is to create an immune response in the
child. Why then vaccinate newborns on day one, when the medical community knows that the infant’s immune system isn’t developed until 6-12 months from gestation? The first six months of life is a time of vital neurological growth and maturation. When vaccines’
