Local Company Red Door Coaching and Training Ltd is working with South Glouces- tershire Council and other partners to run a FREE workshop on 18th April 2012 at The Armadillo Youth Cafe and Meeting Venue in Yate. The Workshop is aimed at providing practical support to local people aged 50 plus who are looking for a new job having been made redun- dant or returning to the job market after a break. These may also be people who had anticipated taking early or semi retirement and now cannot afford to do this and /or people who are changing career direction including considering setting up their own business for any of the above reasons. COMMUNITY NEWS Sodbury Calendar 2013
Sodbury Chamber of Commerce recently announced the entry criteria for their 2013 Calendar photographic com- petition. "This is the fourth calendar the Chamber have organised and in previous years we have received an overwhelm- ing response' commented David Anthony, Chamber Vice Chair. The 2012 calendar was published using photo- graphs taken by professional local photographer Rich McDonough. This was a change from the previous calen- dars which were produced using photographs entered by amateur photographers and selected by a judging panel.
The entry deadline is 31 July 2012 and winning entries
selected by members of the Chamber will be featured in the 2013 Sodbury Calendar. Photographs must have
been taken between 1 April 2011 and 30 June 2012. The Winning Photograph for the Calendar Front Cover will be chosen from competitors under 18 years of age. Full details of subject matters which includes Sodbury
