Sodbury Parish Plan Steering Group Launch
Planning a Brighter Future for the Parish of Sodbury- This group wants:
Yate & Dodington in Bloom Launch Event
Saturday April 14th at the Pop Inn Café, Yate from 10am until 4pm.
Local MP Steve Webb, together with Martin Monk, Mayor of Yate, will officially open the launch of the 2012 Yate and Dodington in Bloom entry into the South West in Bloom competition at 12 noon. Everyone is welcome to come and see our display including the photographs of our success last year when we were awarded Silver in the St. Bridget's Cup category. Our 2012 Garden Competition entry forms will be available. There will be two competitions this year. Whether you plan to create a celebration Diamond Jubilee garden or your usual summer garden, there is a category for both. Iron Acton Garden Centre has kindly donated the prizes for these competitions. Refreshments will be served throughout the day.
