SHOW REVIEW: PURE LONDON Blanche in the Brambles

Luxury accessories label Blanche in the Brambles has launched its new Autumn Winter 2012 collection exclusively at Pure London. The latest collection of faux fur and sheepskin accessories is inspired by love letters, frosty mornings and dark winter evenings. Products are available in a variety of beautiful faux furs, including liver spot grey, monochrome Dalmatian and a romantic snow leopard. The collection is manufactured in Great Britain. Creative Manager Elizabeth Eastwood says, “This season we have concentrated on finding the best quality faux fur available to buy, and we have found it. Our faux furs prove that there is no need to use real fur when such luxury imitations are available. We have contrasted textures and colours by teaming our faux furs with traditional waxed cotton and bouclé cloths. We have also concentrated on unique design detailing in order to offer our customers something completely different, taking our inspiration as always from traditional British fashion with a modern twist.” For further information please telephone 0117 909 5694, email info@blancheinthebrambles.co.uk or visit www.blancheinthebrambles.co.uk

Bella Bazaar

Bella Bazaar, synonymous with pure cashmere poncho wraps, is launching a brand new collection for AW 2012. Consumers can choose from classic organic cotton camisole tops or long sleeved tees, both edged with tantalizingly pretty Liberty prints and long enough to add a favourite belt. Top with a cotton and cashmere mix cardigan with just the right amount of Liberty trim peeking out behind the buttons, or add a cosy boyfriend jumper for a relaxed weekend look. The AW collection has five seasonal colours – Prussian blue, Anthracite, Stone, Black and Bakers Chocolate. Bella Bazaar designer, Angela Collins, says “We wanted to work with pretty prints but keep our look chic and classic to offer our customers good quality on trend, mix and match separates that work season to season.” For further information please telephone 01795 842 856 or visit www.bellabazaar.co.uk

Pamplemousse

Pamplemousse, a huge brand of the 1980’s, was renowned for introducing “jersey lounge dressing” as a staple in womens’ wardrobes. After great demand from many independent retailers, founder and designer Melanie Davis decided to re-launch Pamplemousse, reinventing classic heritage styles to appeal to today’s contemporary woman. Jersey has become so versatile today and the AW12 collection emphasises drape, volume and wrap details whilst ensuring each piece is soft to touch. All styles are easy to wear and ageless, as today’s wardrobe can often be shared from mother to daughter to sister, simply by styling differently. The collection features fabrics such as mélange, print and solid jersey, engineered fine gauge knits, sweats, double face mixtures of georgette and lace. The colour palette includes forest fruits with warm rose, forest green with black cherry and neutral shades of black, greys and off white. Key looks include Sport Luxe, Sexy Slouch and Contemporary Drape. For further information please telephone 0207 036 0101, email jo@pamplemousse.co.uk or visit www.pamplemousse.co.uk

Javier Simorra

Javier Simorra, the international firm of womenswear and accessories, presents its new collection for Autumn Winter 2012-2013 with a strong commitment to colours that represent light and nature. Emerald green, turquoise, blue ink, purple and oil are combined with classic beige, brown, camel, gray and black, to create the perfect balance between simplicity and novelty. Indigo, tobacco brown and orange form a part of the ultra feminine and fluid garments that make up the more casual part of this collection. Coats, jackets, blazers and parkas are represented throughout the collection, using natural materials for more formal clothing and technical fabrics and quilts for the casual line. The clothes are tight fitted to accentuate the waist line, a characteristic very recurrent in the designs of the Catalan designer. True to his origin, Javier Simorra presents the blouse and shirt as a "basic" for every woman’s wardrobe while trousers are presented on two fronts: the more formal type with crepe, and more sporty with elastic cotton and jeans. For further information please visit www.javiersimorra.com
