In 2008 I started my Myspace page as The Commander-In-Chief with a song I had recorded in Chicago and an animated music video I made myself. I wanted a powerful artist name. Something that showed that I am in control of everything since I do both the songwriting, guitarplaying and singing. I lived in Chicago at that time. I got a fanclub online very fast which surprised me a lot. I got a fulltime manager and we started to work 24/7 on my music and we wrote a businessplan. Actually, we are where we said we would be in 2012, which is quite cool.


In 2009 I had a 4 song Demo out , that I streamed on my Myspace. I was in London that year. I had a limited number of Demos for sale to my fans. It got me the first radio plays on independent rock and metal radios and some die hard fans. When it comes to the recording of that Demo, that is a separate story that I will tell later....lol... I also did my first gigs as The Commander-In- Chief. I started to take my singing seriously and I started to take daily singing lessons in Bel Canto technique after discovering my crazy vocal range and how high I can actually go.


In August 2009 my manager and I headed over to Los Angeles where we secluded ourselves up in the Valley, with my drummer, and worked on artist development and my songs 24/7 for many months. I did nothing online during those months and nobody knew what was going on.
