20-25 FEBRUARY 2012 The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the world’s biggest celebration of creativity in marketing communications. In Nigeria, the Young Lions Competition, Roger Hatchuel Academy and Cannes Lions Rewind are some of the major activities undertaken to promote the Festival. The various categories of the Young Lions Competition are guided by similar rules as those for the Young Lions Competition in Cannes and are judged by juries made up of top Nigerian creatives and communication professionals. The winning teams qualify to represent Nigeria at Cannes in their respective categories. Events take place at several venues, ending in the Awards Night on 25 February 2012 at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel.
