BEING WOMAN… 2012 – I am deepening in union
In each and every human being there exists a beautiful dance between feminine and masculine, the yin and yang of existence itself. Feminine is the expansive void of potential and creation that flows to the rhythm of the wind. Masculine is the grounded, focussed, protective strength of the mighty trees, through which the wind whispers.
Cultural and societal conditioning, unconscious wounds, memories of past hurts, and general life experience can create disharmony between our inner polarities which causes havoc when we are attempting to create the lives we desire. We may experience loneliness, disharmonious relationships, lack of direction in terms of life purpose and work, or problems with manifesting abundance. As women, we thrive in community. We
thrive with the support of, and depth of connection with, other women. When we have this support and love, we are more available for our partners, our children, and humanity as a whole. When women come together in safe, sacred
space, supported by their sisters and elders, and open to the surrender of great healing, harmony can grow between our inner feminine and masculine aspects. A deepening
of this inner union occurs and we start the journey toward internal Oneness. When we allow our inner masculine to provide us with a strong, loving foundation of clarity, purpose and protection, our inner feminine then feels safe enough to reveal her full expression of being love, compassion, empathy, beauty and creation. The result: a divine, whole, being that outwardly manifests as healthy relationships with our men, strong loving deep connection to women, harmonious family life and a flow that brings great abundance and joy. Only when we are one inside, can we come together

Being woman… is also about partaking in deep initiatory ceremony in order to reclaim our true selves, to heal wounds that prevent us from living our full potential, to soak up the power and serenity of nature and to live life through our heart centres with creativity and love. This year’s theme, “I am deepening in union”,
is an invitation to deepen the union between our masculine and feminine aspects, connecting to ourselves, our beautiful planet, to each other… all one in the web of life.
