Perlmutter to Appear on Dr. Oz and Speak at Unity

r. David Perl- mutter, board- certified neurologist and author, will ap- pear on The Dr. Oz Show on January 13. Perlmutter was se- lected by Dr. Oz as one of his “Fantastic

Four” top physicians in the country. The longtime Naples resident will discuss the important role of lifestyle changes, including diet and exercise, in re- ducing a person’s risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Perlmutter will also offer a lecture on The Neuroscience of Enlightenment, at Unity of Naples, at 7 p.m., February 9, preceded by a VIP reception.
Perlmutter is the medical director of Perlmutter Health Center and Perlmut- ter Hyperbaric Center, in Naples. His books include Raise a Smarter Child by Kindergarten, The Better Brain Book and Power Up Your Brain – The Neuroscience of Enlightenment. He also has appeared on many national radio and TV shows, including Larry King Live, The Today Show and Oprah.
