Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification at Transcendent Fitness

ranscendent Fitness, in Naples, will host a one-day, entry-level workshop
for Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification, led by Master RKC (Russian Kettlebell Chal- lenge) Certified Instructor John Engum, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., February 4. In preparation for the HKC workshop, RKC
instructor Nick Perretta, of Transcendent Fitness, will conduct an introductory work- shop from 1 to 4 p.m., January 15, on how to prepare to successfully complete the certification in the strength-building method. Kettlebell lifting can dramatically boost one’s power and effectiveness as a personal trainer or coach. Perretta will show how kettlebells can offer a safer, faster and more ef- fective way to achieve results in fat loss, strength development and athletic excellence.

Improve Storytelling Skills via Special Workshop

earn how to weave a tale and enrapture audiences at the Florida Storytelling Association’s Bring a Story Workshop, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., February 4, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, in South Fort Myers.
Produced by the Tamiami Tale Tellers of Fort Myers and led by nationally renowned storyteller Kuniko Yamamoto, the workshop provides the tools to develop stories with creative expressions and vivid characters via group and solo work, drawing, writing and physical movement. Individuals that already have stories and want to improve their delivery, as well as beginners without a particular story, may attend.
