The students move into the new Passmores Academy, which was designed in collaboration with the school staff to meet their needs. This purpose-built site includes environmen- tally friendly building materials, such as internal natural wood linings. Arch
used a Dricon Euroclass B fire treatment to protect around 10,000 linear metres of FSC-certified European oak cladding.

Over 1,000 planks of Cembrit’s Cemwood have been used on a recently finished housing project for Hafod Housing Association. Built to comply with code level four for sustain- able homes, the development, Cae Gleision, features thirty one properties in a mixture of houses, flats and bungalows. Cemwood is used as façade cladding on some properties and helped the project reach code four status due to it being a long- lasting alternative to traditional timber
