NEWSROOM’S GOT TALENT 2011 Cocorose London were delighted to donate
‘A Pair of Cocorose London Ballet Pumps for a Year’
at last month’s exclusive Newsroom’s Got Talent Silent Auction at the Indigo 02 – supporting Leonard Cheshire Disability and Beating Bowel Cancer. A dream come true for the lucky shoenista!
The evening, hosted by Carol Vorderman and Brian Conley, featured anchors from ITV
News, ITN, Sky, Daybreak, Channel 4, Al Jazeera and NBC - who showed off their wow factor in front of a live celebrity audience and judges Arlene Phillips, Anton du Beke and Christopher Biggins. Household names performing included Dan Lobb Jon Snow, Katie Derham, Steve Scott, Julie Etchingham, Mark Austin and Krishnan Guru Murthy –
singing, dancing, strumming guitars, beating the drums – and strutting their impressive stuff. The team from London Tonight were crowned the winners, for their sassy rendition of He Had It Coming from the musical Chicago.
Over £40,000 was raised on the night, with all proceeds split equally between the two charities.
