Southern Manufacturing & Electronics, the UK’s largest regional manufacturing technology, electronics and subcontracting exhibition, is set to return to FIVE, Farnborough, on February 15 and 16, 2012.
Last year’s show appealed to a global market, attracting over 6,500 visitors from all over Europe and 500 exhibitors from as far away as China, drawn by its convenient location and the diversity of products and services on display. With over 450 exhibitors already confirmed for 2012, the show is on course for another record- breaking year, says organiser European Trade & Exhibition Services (ETES).
The show is a must-see event for all fields of industrial engineering and manufacturing and is a one-stop-shop for finding solutions to manufacturing problems, says ETES. A key factor of the show’s popularity is the wide range of companies taking part, which enables visitors to meet an enormous range of suppliers in a single visit. Exhibitors are organised into specific areas, making it easy for visitors to find what they are looking for quickly and easily. Combined with free entry and free on-site car parking, it’s this ability to discover a huge number of new products and services in a short space of time that exerts a powerful attraction to visitors and exhibitors alike.
The show also hosts an extremely popular free seminar programme over both days of the event. The programme is delivered by acknowledged experts in their fields who address both business and technical issues in manufacturing and electronics and is designed to be of practical benefit to anyone involved in manufacturing and industry. It combines high-calibre mentoring with live machinery demonstrations – the latest in industrial hardware, from adhesives to zinc plating – and gives visitors the opportunity to meet some of Europe’s leading subcontractors in one visit.
