ecember is the month of holiday memories. We build many an experience into our lives that stay with us forever. In the past, December memories revolved around family and traditions of the season. Today, I am reflecting on another type of memory... that of a shift in awareness, of who I am, and who I was becoming at the time.

Circa 1994 my brother sent me a newly released cassette series by Dr. Wayne Dyer called “How to Be a No- Limit Person: Live Life at Full Throttle”. This particular story unfolds as I first share the law of attraction concept with my then partner. He didn’t believe the law and thought it would be a complete waste of time to listen to the tapes. Five years later, divorce finalized, I decided to listen past the first section of the Dyer tapes. The memories of that time are embedded deeply in my consciousness. I began to understand the law and embraced taking full responsibility for my life, my relationships, my career, and my support system. I rebuilt the foundation of my life. Several months on, I quit my

day job, bought the first franchise for Natural Awakenings (NA) and attended an alternative health conference in Weston with the entire NA corporate team (three individuals). In a brief moment at the conference I spotted Dr. Dyer and seized the opportunity to share how much he meant to me; I asked if he would allow the (unknown) person with a camera standing next to me take a photo of us. I have been listening to and reading Dyer’s messages ever since, and most recently at the Hay House I Can Do It Conference in Tampa. He lives in truth and shares his wisdom with others. Our Inspiration section this month is an excerpt from “Your Ultimate Calling” by Dyer. We are reminded to see our lives as an infinite expression of the Divine. Our lives reach far beyond our personal ego. My unfolding, my awareness of

around the giving than the taking. What can I do to improve things while I’m here? Pick up litter? Yes, I do that. Currently I’m attracted to the small circular, very flattened and rusted bottle caps. Yes, the ones that have been discarded and ignored for quite some time. How might this relate to the thousands of dots I add to my paintings? I don’t have an answer yet. I enjoy giving to non-profits. It’s important for me to support local events. Current memorable moments involve my personal connection with individuals and groups. How can I give of myself? What will be most helpful? What is a need I can fulfill? It is these creative questions I ask during my day. Memories are generated through
