Kevin leads Mouchel’s Estates and Valuation business, focusing on structuring property ownership and occupation to increase property value, reduce costs and risks and improve efficiency. As well as advising on property strategy and asset management the team provide a full set of outsourced property services. These include estate management, repair and maintenance, facilities management and design and procurement. They manage over 5000 public buildings and 3000 schools.
In previous roles Kevin has created a new property strategy to match a new Policing strategy. Including stakeholder engagement and interview, definition of demand, specification and space requirements for a wide and varied estate. This included new ways of working, rationalisation and simultaneous improvement of the estate with total annual costs reduction.
He has also undertaken analysis of options to accelerate capital receipts and improve asset management. From a regeneration perspective, this also allowed for the creation of a business case to create a Special Purpose Vehicle including risks, issues and sensitivities, financial modelling and implementation planning for a portfolio value >£1bn.
