London South Bank University (LSBU)

is a modern university with a long heritage and has been delivering professional training since 1892

Today, LSBU is the brighter choice for undergraduate study. Read these highlights to find out why.

Graduate starting salaries LSBU is the number one modern university in the UK for graduate starting salaries. (Sunday Times University Guide 2012)

Our graduates take up sought after graduate positions in accounting and finance, business administration, marketing, healthcare, built environment and urban regeneration, and the public sector. And many go on to follow their own creative and entrepreneurial pursuits in music and theatre performance, arts management, social enterprise and product design.

Added value

LSBU is in the top 25% of UK universities for ‘adding value’. (Guardian League Table 2012)

We’ve achieved the highest possible rating for the quality of our education (QAA 2010). This means that you are certain to graduate with more than just newfound knowledge in your degree discipline. Our teaching is practice-oriented, with a real focus on employability – so you’ll leave the added bonus of having the softer skills that employers demand.

Professional links We strive to ensure our courses are either professionally accredited, or developed and endorsed by employers and industry. This ensures what we teach is relevant in the world of work, not just in the classroom. Our

students are encouraged to do work placements, and we offer support to help you find one in a leading organisation, such as Goldman Sachs, Ogilvy, BBC or Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Flexible study As the leading modern university in London for part- time undergraduate study, we have a track record in supporting part-time students to achieve their goals. Almost half of our current students study part-time, meaning we are experts in helping students to manage learning around their busy and often complex lives. In 2012, we will be expanding our undergraduate part-time offer to ensure there are flexible learning options for as many degrees as possible, typically offered over 4-6 years.
