FROM OUR READERS
Dear ShowBiz, At first I laughed and laughed about your “I’m Not Mom!” article and pictures. I was glad that it was not
ME you were talking about. Then I went to a show with my barn and saw exactly what ShowBiz referred to. I was also a bit put off when I spoke to my trainer at the end of the show. Our barn had trash all over and I was waived off and told the show “always takes care of it”. When I showed them your article it was obvious my opinion was not welcome. I persevered and the trash got picked up. I plan on following up at every show since I do NOT like the thought of leaving the place worse than when we got there. THANKS!

Dear ShowBiz, Tom Struzzieri is a wonder and now he will be a
wonder in the running/biking/swimming sport. He has a knack for looking to the future and I loved read- ing about his eye being on another sport. Athletes from riders to Triathlon competitors benefit from his foresight and willingness to spend money to create what other people only talk about. Thank you for this article, it lets me know more about a man I have only heard about but never talked to.

Dear ShowBiz, I really liked reading about Benson
Dear ShowBiz, Wild Turkey farm is a dream for all of us.
Carroll. He has been at the back gate for winners for as long as I can remember and I have been riding since the 60’s. Al- though I do not get around the ring very much now, I appreciate you doing stories on people from all over the coast. Thank you for catching me up on what Benson is doing.

A place to sit in the grass and watch the ba- bies as your article so poignantly said. Since I cannot get to that point it was soothing to see someone who has, and read about them. Barb Ellison is a welcome addition to our community and the farm is a bonus for the industry here on the west coast. We all wel- come her!!
