printing company) and John Paul Caponigro (Photoshop Hall of Fame inductee whose work can be seen at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC), to name a few. They are also mentored by California- based photographer Dane Sanders, author of “Fast Track Photographer.”
“Dane is himself on the cutting edge of the industry and has provided us with invaluable insights into what makes a firm successful today,” said Jay. “Although technology is important, Dane espouses customer service as the most critical component. We agree that we are in the business of establishing and maintaining trust. This happens up front when we provide our client with en gratis service the first time we work for them. Our clients are so taken-aback by our confidence, our quality, our speed, and our commitment to serve that we've moved from low to high trust with just one transaction.”
Aside from helping a builder increase his or her portfolio by use of professional imagery, one of i2's other main goals is to help the owner, Builder, or Realtor with selling the home faster.
“With 9 out of 10 home buyers starting their search online, what do you think is going to attract more attention?” asks Charles. “…the all too common mundane images taken on an iPhone, or stunning images taken and carefully perfected in the post-production stage by a professional? You work meticulously on the details of each home you build or remodel. It is a crime to cut corners on marketing those properties by using poor quality photos and outdated technology.”
“For example, when a homeowner turns to websites such as
realtor.com, they often find themselves dismayed by the quality of imagery, even for homes selling at the higher end of the market. Worse, the imagery is of such two dimensional quality that the viewer quickly tires of searching since the images are nearly always captured from the same perspective—6 feet in the air. “
I2 considers it a responsibility to the homeowner/builder to present their home from the best possible perspective, similar to the way a portrait photographer would do the same for his or her client. In their experience, the best perspective is rarely that seen from the driveway or sidewalk in front of the home.
