AIM4SUCESS.TV: PDI and ADI resources
The team of instructor trainers at
AIM4SUCCESS.TV have been busy since they introduced their online training site for PDIs. This month they’ve launched a comprehensive package of training resources for qualified ADIs and their student drivers.
The ULTIMATE ADI section provides a wide range of services including:Check Test preparation. In addition to filmed one hour driving lessons covering recommended subjects, the Check Test Handbook can be downloaded which contains lots of tips on how best to prepare oneself for the big day.
The Teaching Learner Drivers section shows how and when to teach the full driving syllabus. The in-car demonstrations are based on Driving the essential skills and Teach Driving in 3D, both highly- acclaimed, best-selling books over the last few years.
The Teach Driving in 3D book is available as a download to ULTIMATE ADI members.
Coaching for Driver Development. Sue McCormack, the coaching guru who wrote and co-presents the BTEC level 4 Coaching certificate, explains and demonstrates coaching for driver development. This section is a must-see part of the site and will open the eyes of many a doubting ADI who might feel that coaching has no place in driving instruction.

CPD (Continuous Professional and Personal Development) has been encouraged by DSA for a few years now. Soon it will become mandatory for all ADIs to provide evidence to DSA of their personal development and plans for the future. The CPD section allows ULTIMATE ADI members to record what they have studied on the site and how they are implementing what they have learned in the real world. Record forms and CPD certificates of completion are available to those members taking advantage of this e-learning opportunity.
The ULTIMATE ADI Support Pack contains plenty of useful advice and support, most notably: Driver vouchers allowing access for 10 of your pupils to the learner driver section for one month. A monthly newsletter keeping subscribers abreast of current news and trends in our industry. Student drivers can access video of DSA’s complete driver training programme. This can boost their chances of passing the driving test first time as they work with their instructor to see how every junction, hazard and manoeuvre should be carried out.
AIM4SUCCESS.TV has it all covered with high grade video footage and the latest information essential for ADIs, PDIs and their student drivers.
