Mario Gianani entered the audiovisual industry in 1995 and founded the Rome- based production company Off side Srl in 2001 which was merged into Wildside eight years later. As a producer, he has worked on several programmes for diff erent TV broadcasters, a number of documentaries and feature fi lms, including three features
by Saverio Costanzo premiering in Locarno, Berlin and Venice. Mario also produced Marco Bellochio‘s Win, which premiered in Competition at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and won eight David di Donatello awards last year, and followed this with Gabriele Salvatores 1960 which received the Nastri d’Argento for Best Documentary this year.

A former fi lm critic and head of the Estonian Film Foundation, Riina Sildos set up her own production company Amrion Productions in 2003 and has also worked as a producer for the animation studio Eesti Joonisfi lm. At Amrion, Riina has produced three documentaries and fi ve features, including local box-offi ce hits and
international co-productions with Germany and Finland. She currently has two international documentaries in production with Finland and Austria and is developing several co-productions including Afterwar and Broken Flower. Riina has participated in the EAVE and ACE producer initiatives and is a member of the European Film Academy.
Jean du Toit is Head of B u s i n e s s Affairs and a producer at Buffalo Gal Pictures, where she has been w o r k i n g since 2001. Jean’s first role as a produce r
was on a mocdoc for The Comedy Network on the life-threatening dangers of reading. Since then, she has produced television series and slightly more serious documentaries, and is now developing a documentary as a co-production with Norway about the South Sami people, entitled The Whisperers. Jean currently serves on the board of directors of On Screen Manitoba, Manitoba’s screen-based industry association, and on the board of the Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC).

Leah Jaunzems is a producer and VP of Development at Darius Films, with offi ces in Los Angeles and Toronto. She started her fi lm career as a freelancer in production for fi ve years before being approached to run actor/director Bill Duke’s media company and became head of development at Darius Films in 2007. Since then, Leah has helped develop several feature fi lm scripts and recently completed her fi rst lead producing credit with the crime thriller Cold Blooded. In addition, she has now been selected as an approved Mentor and Screenwriting Consultant in Telefi lm Canada’s newly created directory.
