After working in the telecommunications sector as an engineer and manager for a decade, Muniré Armstrong decided to work in the film industry. She has produced two feature films, many award-winning short films and documentaries, her most recent co- production White As Snow premiering at last year‘s Chicago Film Festival. Muniré was selected for OMDC Mentorship Program at HotDocs (2011) and Telefilm Mentorship Program (2010). She also helped to establish a successful corporate video production company and produced numerous projects for a broad range of customers including such multinational corporations as Coca-Cola and Pfizer between 2003-2006.

Gregory Athanasiou had worked in film, theatre, opera and advertising in Germany and Greece before setting up his Athens-based production company Minus Pictures in 2004 to focus on cutting edge arthouse feature films by young filmmakers. With degrees in Philosophy and Physics, and courses in Linguistics, Ethnology and Psychoanalysis, he had also studied acting based on the Lee Strasberg method and attended workshops for story editing, management and legal issues, and film financing. To date, Gregory has produced four feature films by Costas Zapas and is now developing a new feature based on the novel ‘Frankenstein‘ by Mary Shelley.

Mariano Vanhoof founded Fobic Films with Geoffrey Enthoven in 1999 after they had met at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts KASK in Ghent during their studies of Audiovisual Arts. They had already pooled their directing and producing skills to realise Geoffrey‘s final project at KASK, The Undertaker. They have since worked together on four feature films, with the latest Come As You Are invited to competition in Montreal this year. Mariano also works as a freelance executive producer, handling several national and international television series and feature films, including the German remake of Studio 100‘s “House Of Anubis” for MTV/Nickelodeon.

Félize Frappier had operated within the distribution sector as a sales agent for Max Films International since 2003 before taking the step into production last year to produce Guy Édoin’s first feature film, Wetlands, which is opening the Canada First! section at TIFF 2011 and had its world premiere in Venice Critics’ Week. Félize has participated in the EAVE Workshops as well as various other professional training sessions such as Strategic Partners, Rotterdam Lab, and the Cannes Producers Network. She is currently in development on Édoin’s second feature which will be an adaptation of Jean-Simon DesRochers‘ novel ‘Heat Wave Of The Poor.’
