This month’s Vintage winners are neo-indie trio Easter Street, who hail from Duns on the Scottish borders. This small town band know the price it takes to make it in the ruthless music biz, and we believe that their hard work ethic and vibrant Americana-pop makes them deserved winners of this month’s competition, bagging an awesome Vintage V6 guitar, courtesy of JHS Ltd. Comprised of two Scottish natives and one Canadian,

this hard grafting three-piece played their fi rst two shows to sell out crowds after releasing their self-recorded debut E.P online. ‘Paved With Good Intentions’ impressed us with its crooning Ezra Furman-like ramshackle soul, incorporating elements of snappy underground pop into the mix with hints of Vampire Weekend and Group Love. Derek Huffman from the band thought they deserved to win the guitar because, ‘we’ve put so much effort into making our music and getting it heard. Being a very small independent band, we would appreciate any help with gear to help us start to bring our music to a wider audience’. Congrats, boys. http://soundcloud.com/easterstreet
