Weeklong Celebration of Mindful Living


H


earts’ Path to Mindful Living, Inc., in Fort Myers, is uniting with several Lee County organizations to present a series of workshops, activities, events and speakers from September 16 to 22, to raise awareness of how to enjoy each day and live in the moment.


The celebration kicks off from 9:30 to 11 a.m., September 16, with a presentation, Making Peace with Your Stress: Try Mindfulness, at Presbyterian Homes, in Lehigh Acres; and a mangrove gathering event from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Eco Living Center at Rutenberg Park, in Fort Myers. Madeline and Mark Ebelini will lead a yoga session from 8 to 9 a.m., September 17, followed by a native butterfly gardening presentation, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Alliance for the Arts’ Green Market, in Fort Myers. Additional events include the fourth annual Peace Day in the Park, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., September 18, at Jaycee Park, in Cape Coral; stress reduction talks at 1 and 7 p.m., September 19, at Integrative Mindfulness, in Bonita Springs; an International Peace Day FunRaise Dinner from 5 to 8 p.m., Sep- tember 21, at Sweet Tomatoes, in Fort Myers; and a presentation by keynote speaker Cheryl Wilfong, author of The Meditative Gardener, at 7 p.m., Septem- ber 23 (the first day of autumn), at the Eco Living Center at Rutenberg Park. The seven-day celebration will culminate with a Living MindFULLY Festival & Peace Walk, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., September 24, at Lakes Regional Park, in Fort Myers.


Hearts’ Path to Mindful Living is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting supportive and life-affirming mindfulness-based programs for health and well-being.

Indira Hosts Inner Power Workshop at Journey Arts

earn how to unplug the mind and connect to Self from a pioneer in this paradigm for life. Indira will lead a Journey to Your Inner Power work- shop from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., September 17, at Journey Arts, in Naples. The event will provide participants with training in the art of connecting—to access the innate knowing of one’s Self on demand, and act on any area of life, including personal relationships, career, health and finance, in which one faces concerns and challenges. Indira will also talk about four steps to live from one’s Self as a natural way of life. Since having a profound personal experience 15 years ago, Indira’s passion has been to lead such programs for thousands of people, to help them live a new reality with greater ease, peace, connectedness and love.
