NEMSPA Releases Heliport A/C White Paper

The National EMS Pilot Association (NEMSPA) recently sent the Federal Aviation Administrator their most recent White Paper entitled Recommendation For The Utilization Of An Independent Industry Task Force For The Review And Rewrite of the FAA/DOT Heliport Advisory Circular.

In their latest White Paper,

NEMSPA outlines what it believes to be the optimum process for reviewing and rewrit- ing the heliport advisory circular

by utilizing an independent industry/FAA task force. NEMSPA outlines their recom- mendations as to how this process should work and who from both industry and the FAA should be involved. NEMSPA also makes the recommendation

to the administrator to reinstate the FAA’s Vertical Flight Committee to assist in this process. You can review and download the White Paper on the NEMSPA web site at www.nemspa.org. ◆
