Novick Chiropractic Re-Opens North County Office

Marie’s Words Releases Vocabulary Product M


arie Bradvica, a recent graduate of Carlsbad High School, created her own method to learn vocabulary


words while studying for the SAT as a junior. After realizing that her difficulty retaining word meanings mirrored her struggle with remembering people’s names, Marie concluded that she needed some visual element to remember the long list of SAT vocabulary words. This realization led her to discover visual language. Just as a logo is a visual representation of a company’s name, Marie’s Words


employs colorful illustrations and mnemonics to create a “face” for each of the 550 hand-picked vocabulary words from the SAT and literature. Using the new system, Marie improved her SAT score by 260 points and
