Good Food at its Best

Dine out at The Roebuck

THE new owners of The Roebuck in Harrietsham have declared that they are here to stay. Tom and Jacqui O'Connor, who have been in the licensed trade for over 22 years, have wasted no time in putting their own individual twist to this well-established village pub.

While regulars may notice changes to background music and the introduction of fresh flowers, it is the new menu, and particularly the £20 weekday dinner date deal, that has caught the public's attention. This offer encourages couples and friends to spend quality time together, with a garlic bread starter to share, two

main dishes and a bottle of wine all covered by the price. Tom said: "We're very family-focused with traditional values and are determined to make this work."

The new owners have already held a dinner and dance, Thai evening and a family day, all of which were very successful. Jacqui said: "There is lot of work to be done, but we are both determined to re-establish The Roebuck as a great pub at the heart of our community."
