The Southwest Parking Association was formed in 2001 with the purpose of connecting parking and transportation professionals and providing a forum in which to share knowledge and further develop the industry. Since found- ing, ourmembership has grown towell over 100 and our annual conference has become nation- ally recognized for networking opportunities that build deep and lasting business relation- ships.
The Southwest Parking Association invites everyone to the SWPA Convention in its tenth year for our annual convention and trade show. Check the website for more information on our Scholarship Program.

The Texas Parking and Transportation Associ- ationwas created to enhance the development of parking and transportation professionals within the public and private sectors in the State of Texas. The organization seeks to pro- vide a forum in which parking and transporta- tion professionals can network, share and dis- seminate information, and stay informed of issues, specific to the parking industry, and to speak with a united voice. The objectives of the organization are to maintain a statewide organ- ization of individuals involved with parking issues in municipalities and other goverment bodies whether local, state or national, parking authorities, transportation authorities, boards, bureaus, commissions or departments, also including universities, colleges, airports, hospi- tals, stadiums and auditoriums; to promote the mutual interests of themembership in the provi- sion and operation of adequate, efficient, con- venient and economical public parkingas a proper and necessary function for the econom- ic and social well being of the members; to act for and regularly coordinate with all the mem- bers as well an information source on issues of the interest to the association; to assist and aid association members in dealing with parking problems and fostering a current understanding of parking principles, practices and interaction with transportation objectives.
